The DeVille has been recalled 25 times. The 2000 and 2002 model years have been involved in the most campaigns.

Recalls are free repairs, initiated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Cadillac itself, for a widespread safety problem. They might be a pain, but a recalled problem is better than an ignored one.
